Getting Started

Share with your friends!

So you’ve read through everything and you’re ready to get started.

The next step is one form. Give it about fifteen minutes. It asks for the things I need to know in order to build your systems properly, how your business runs right now, how you book and follow up with clients, what tools you are already paying for, and what you want this to look like when it is done.

You do not need every answer ready. If a question does not apply to you, skip it. I would much rather have a mostly filled form today than a perfect one three weeks from now.

This works whether you sell your time, your hands, or your work. If you are a maker, an artist, or anyone selling physical products, the form asks about what you make, how you sell it now (online, at markets, wholesale, or all three), and where your orders, inventory, and shipping live today. Service businesses and product businesses get the same treatment, because the backend problem is usually the same shape.

Have these handy before you start

  • The name and email you want clients to see
  • The booking tool you use now, if you have one
  • The email platform you use, if you have one
  • Roughly how many clients you see in a month
  • A sense of the two or three things that eat the most time
  • If you sell products: where your orders and inventory live now, and how you ship

Please do not put passwords in the form. When we get to setup, I will send you a secure way to share access. Never send a password by email or text.

What happens after you submit

I read every answer before we speak, so the first conversation starts with your business instead of with a list of questions. From there we set a direction, agree on what gets built first, and put a start date on the calendar.

If something in the form raises a flag or a question, I will come to that call with it already in hand.

Not ready to fill out a form yet?

That is completely fine. If you would rather talk first and see whether this is a fit, start with a conversation instead.

Contact Christy and tell me what is going on. We can figure out the right first step together.

Everything you share stays between us. Nothing from your intake is used in marketing or shared with anyone without your say.

Wonder whether AI is doing any of this, or what it costs? I wrote it all out honestly on how I use AI and what it costs the planet.
