The house rules, in plain language, so nobody has to guess and I do not have to bring it up while you are on the table.
Scheduling
Sessions are booked through the scheduler at massagebook.com/therapists/ForRestingTheSoul. If you would rather not book online, use the contact form and I will find you a time.
Cancellations and changes
Please give me at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment. That window is how the room gets offered to someone else who needs it.
Cancellations inside that window, and appointments missed without notice, are charged the full price of the session. I will always tell you before charging anything.
Running late
If you are running late, text or call and I will do what I can. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean a shorter session at the same price, or a reschedule, depending on what is booked after you. For a sixty minute session, arriving more than 30 minutes late means we cannot get half the session in, so we will reschedule.
Payment and gratuity
From January 1, 2027 the price is the price. Gratuity is included in every rate, and there is no tip screen, online or at checkout. Payment is taken through MassageBook when you book or at the end of your session.
Gift certificates and packages
Gift certificates and packages you already hold keep working exactly as they were sold, at the value you paid. They do not expire because my rates changed.
New massage clients
I am not taking new massage therapy clients after January 1, 2027. If you are already a client, nothing about your standing changes.
Receipts and insurance
Ask and I will send a receipt you can submit to an HSA, FSA or insurance plan. I do not bill insurance directly.
Your information
What you tell me in a session stays with me. I keep clinical notes in your client record and nowhere else, and I do not discuss clients with clients.
If something goes wrong
Tell me. If a session did not help, or something I did landed wrong, I want to hear it directly rather than read it in a review.
